Hardware

DataBeyond uses nothing but the best hardware for our clients. Most of our servers are built from quality. If we get an order for server(s) and we have an insufficient amount of hardware in our racks, the client has the choice to wait for servers to ship in, or he can choose to go with our other hardware supplier that uses nothing but genuine hardware parts built to suit anybody with their Supermicro™ cases. We take no chances with our hardware, we use the best and only the best to ensure that the customer will get the best performance and uptime out of their product.

To ensure that our clients get the best uptime, we utilize Cisco Systems™ hardware. We choose to utilize Cisco Systems™ hardware since they have repeatedly proven their performance guarantee in this market and they are the closest thing to perfection when it comes to 100% uptime. With Cisco Systems™ and genuine hardware, you can relax and not worry since you know that DataBeyond uses only the best there is out there. We are not some host that searches for the cheapest hardware or systems; we are the host that searches for the best parts that money can buy to ensure that our customers will remain satisfied.

Power

Our Network Operations Center has a top quality power system that couldn't be better delivered by A to Z Integrated Networks. Since the power supply and power backups are taken care of by A to Z Integrated Networks, all that is left for us to do is power distribution. We currently use APC™ Systems to distribute power and also for remote power access for the clients. With APC™ System you take complete control of your power and feel safe that you will be able to reboot your server yourself without having to contact our network operations center. You take complete control over the power with a secured password protected system that APC™ System have built in.

Software

The Network Operations Center utilizes the Fedora™ Linux operating system on the majority of servers present. Fedora™ Linux is a highly configurable system, and well known for speed and stability. Fedora ™ Linux servers have been documented to remain operating for up to one year at a time without even requiring a reboot. The Apache™ Web Server nicely compliments the Fedora™ Linux Operating System. Along with Fedora™ operating systems, our web servers are accompanied with cPanel™ and Web Hosting Manager™ control panel software. cPanel™ makes web hosting easy even for people that don't have background knowledge of Linux. Almost everything can be done with a click of a button and can help you manager your website(s) and clients' website(s). With cPanel™ and Web Hosting Manager™, you can even create resellers who get their own Web Hosting Manager™ control panel and manager their own clients with cPanel™ control panels. cPanel™ and WHM™ is the answer to your question when it comes to web hosting.

Network Operations Center & Connectivity

Restricted access to the Network Operations Center is monitored by qualified personnel 24 hours a day, every day. Visitors and clientele are only allowed on-site if escorted by Network Operations Center staff (given 24 hour notice). The entire Network Operations Center is monitored, ensuring prompt response and thorough coverage to fire or security alarms. DataBeyond currently utilizes COX Communications™ bandwidth in the A to Z Integrated Networks facility. Cox Communications™ leverages our fully redundant and meshed fiber optic metropolitan area networks (MANs) to provide a solid foundation for your business communications. Each COX Communications™ MAN is scalable up to OC-192 or higher with our deployed DWDM technology, and utilizes MAN transport technology - ATM, SONET, PON, RPR, or Ethernet - to speed your data traffic to the Internet. COX Communications ™ is the service your business can count on for the entire connection, from beginning to end.
